Only 28 years old. Way too young. Never married, no kids. No real job. Rents a small unregistered room in a basement. No business experience. Never had a substantive thing come from his mouth in four years. Not bright at all. No mind of his own. Not a leader. Just a kid. Has absolutely no business being on a city commission. He was elected the first time because of his name, but after four years of seeing this dumb-dumb do nothing on the commission, we need to pass.
Joe Sooy
Toxic. Worked as a prison supervisor for years. Treats everyone like they are one of his inmates. Can't get along with anyone. His way or the highway. Goes on social media and acts like a child. Has made enemies with developers, officials from other cities, the county and even in his own party. Someone once said "If Satan walks among us on earth it is in the body of Joe Sooy" Bad for Millville.
Marissa Ranello
North Jersey girl. We can't imagine having to listen to that voice for four years. Claims to want to get along with everyone but fought with Joe Sooy behind the scenes. Not terribly bright. Couldn't even do her school board training on time. Only gets involved during election time. Picked up trash for 8 hours to prove how much she loves Millville. We are electing commissioners, not trash men. Implodes under pressure- her biggest issue in front of the PBA was "shrubbery". We're not sure she even works or what she does for a living. What get's us is that her past has NOTHING to it. And no one pushes back on the fact that she has accomplished NOTHING in her life. It's a mystery. Someone please ask her what she has accomplished in life before ever running for public office. Has a lot of people fooled. It's not about Millville-it's all about Marissa! Run!
Patty Kears
Listen- just because you know someone doesn't mean they should be a commissioner. In 10 years we are still waiting for her to say something at a commission meeting that makes any sense. Is SHE running or her son who is propping her up? She wrote a 1000 word solution to the homeless problem which can be summarized as "let's form a committee" to solve it. She would be a disaster for the city. Disaster. 9.5 Ricter Scale disaster.
Rachel Green
Brand NEW to Millville. Doesn't have a love for Millville- just for politics. Super LIBERAL- was a Kamala Harris chairperson in addition to about 50 other super liberal organizations and titles. Absolutely not right for Millville and what this city needs right now. We don't need Liberal policies to get this city in order. If Kears is and earthquake-Green is a tornado.
Carol Cossaboon. Yeah we all know her. Maybe for another time when Millville's problems are fixed but not now. She's a seat warmer. No ideas. No leadership. Not now.
Joe Derella. Well, half the people hate him and half the people love him. Partisan democrat. Has a lot of bad baggage from laying off police officers to balance the budget to screwing up a new county jail. Not sure why he wants to run. He had his chance. Now time for some new faces.
